About me

Wikipedia's 'Random article' function furnished the source material for this series of poems About me. After loading a randomly-selected article, a number generator was used to determined how much text to excerpt and from which sentence on the page. Pronouns and proper nouns from the source material were swapped with singular first-person pronouns — I, me, mine, and so forth — to subsume the doings of individuals, nations, and inanimate objects within my own life story.
