Correctional Sonnets

Correctional Sonnets is a heroic crown of visual sonnets that uses correctional fluid, pen, and tape as re-purposed writing implements to invoke both erasure and blackout poetry. White markings are arranged on black cardstock in loose groupings to suggest stanzas and the fluidity of the sonnet form.

This chapbook is dedicated to Catherine Vidler, whose visual poetry challenges conventional understandings of the sonnet form and inspires many of my own experiments in that direction.
