Little Songs

Little Songs reduces various traditional and modified sonnet forms (like Shakespearean, Miltonic, and Terza Rima forms) to their graphical minimum: 1 pixel for unstressed syllables, 2 pixels for stressed. Line spacing indicates a poem's stanza structure, while alignment correlates to its rhyme scheme. Variance from iambic pentameter, though common in sonnets, has been suppressed through all 10 visual poems. A limited edition of 50 copies of Little Songs was produced by No Press in 2022.
